The residency is aimed to artists who wish to fully immerse themselves in rural environment and have a desire to explore their creativity in a natural setting.

Objective: to awaken primitive instincts by seeking personal and profound imagery, developing intricate and complex stories; to establish an intimate relationship with an increasingly forgotten nature; to explore one's creative side in a slower pace.
Less than an hour from Rome, immersed in the nature reserve of Lake Bracciano, we will live in an old farmhouse surrounded by forest and silence, exchanging experiences of everyday life.
We will follow the cycles of the countryside, farming and harvesting, collaborating with farmers and locals. Participants will be encouraged to become totally in tune with their surroundings, establishing a deep connection with the land and local communities.
The process will be guided by mentors Maurizio Cogliandro and Guido Gazzilli, who will accompany the participants throughout the whole creative process.
Throughout the residency, there will be meetings with local contributors, as well as sessions for discussion and constructive feedback with leading figures from the world of photography and publishing.

To further stimulate creative thinking, we will organise nature tours in direct contact with local fauna and flora, along with opportunities for autonomous activities suited for your creative needs.
This unique experience will allow you to rediscover the beauty of nature and deepen your connection with it, telling it’s story through your photography lens.

Artist Residency Program

Welcome to our Artist Residency, a space dedicated to creativity, experimentation, and artistic growth. Our program is designed to guide artists through a structured yet flexible process, allowing them to develop and refine their projects in a unique and inspiring environment.
Program Overview
• Introduction & Orientation
The residency begins with a presentation by our mentors, who will introduce the program’s structure and provide insights into the creative journey ahead. Artists will also become familiar with the facilities and resources available to them.
• Project Development
Participants will receive guidance on shaping their ideas and artistic direction. This phase focuses on conceptual development, technical exploration, and constructive feedback to push each project further.
• Printing & Editing
As projects take shape, artists will have access to professional printing and editing support to refine their work and prepare it for presentation.
• Finalization & Critiques
Before the final showcase, mentors and peers will engage in critique sessions, offering valuable perspectives and insights to ensure each project reaches its full potential.
• Final Presentation
The residency culminates in a final editing and printing session, followed by a slideshow projection where artists will present their completed works.
• Installation in the Cave
As a unique highlight of the program, participants will install their works in a cave, transforming the space into an immersive artistic environment. This final exhibition serves as both a celebration of the residency and an opportunity for artists to share their vision with a wider audience.
Our residency offers a dynamic and supportive space where artists can challenge themselves, connect with peers, and create meaningful work in an extraordinary setting.
We look forward to welcoming you!
